Mark was fantastic. He mingled with everyone, young and old and captivated them all. Everyone thought he was fantastic and the magic was second to none. He was relaxed and chatted with the guests, and seamlessly introduced the magic tricks. It's all the guests ask us about now.
We booked Mark for our special wedding anniversary celebration, which we held at home in our garden. None of the guests knew that there would be a 'roaming' magician, but Mark integrated himself immediately and got round to everyone (we had more than 40 guests). His magic was absolutely amazing. Everyone was wowed by him and talking about it. Mark is a really friendly, nice guy and it was a pleasure to have him with us. If you want something very special for your event and you want it to be truly memorable, Mark's your man! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
Mark came as a surprise to my dads 80th birthday celebration in May. He was entertaining, funny and magical. Everyone loved his performance and tricks and we were talking about him all weekend. Highly recommend
We had a small family gathering, in May, of just 11 immediate family members to celebrate my 80th Birthday. I surprised them by booking Mark to entertain us! Mark was brilliant with his unbelievable close up magic (and it truly was Magic) and his great humour and friendliness. He certainly got my celebrations off to a great start and my family are still talking about’ how did he do that?’ - it’s Magic!!!
I had Mark come along as part of my 70th birthday celebrations to entertain a small group of my closest friends. Mark arrived in good time and soon set about wowing my guests with his close up magic. We were thoroughly entertained and to this day have no idea how it was all done - in front of our eyes. My partner still has the bent 20p coin with her initials as a memento of the evening. My guests are still talking about it. Highly recommended.

Mark has the magic touch to perfection. Looking for something unique to add the extra sparkle to a big family birthday do, Mark was suggested to us by a friend. We were not disappointed. He mingled gently with the guests, then started and one table ‘working’ those present until they were in fits. Then he moved on to another table, and so on. Undoubtedly this was talked about for days after. Don’t miss an opportunity to invite him, enjoy yourself.
Witnessed marks magic at a friend’s birthday party yesterday, not a clue how it was done but so good to witness, The banter made the whole experience so much better too , definitely recommend him to anyone who wants to be mesmerised,

We hired Mark to entertain our guests at our wedding! We booked Mark to perform 'walking' magic as entertainment for our guests between wedding service and reception. We were recommended Mark and now, having witnessed his magic first hand, I fully understand why! He was a fabulous addition to our day and all our guests commented on how good (and baffling!) his magic is! we were blown away by the tricks we saw ourselves and wish we had got to see more. Can not recommend Mark enough. He came and entertained 140 people at a charity ball for us. Two weeks on and people are still talking about how good he is. One comment was “my mind was blown”. Will definitely be booking Mark again at our next event.

I saw Mark at my daughters wedding and the magnificent magic tricks he did blew everyone away. He left everybody confused and wanting more. I don't know how he does it but he is definitely magic.
Mark was hired as a table Magician for our charity ball. Not only is he talented but very professional and great fun. Everyone commented on how brilliant his magic was and how entertaining the 'tricks' were. Of course they're not tricks..... It's magic. Mark has a brilliant array of awe-inspiring tricks. He also had a wonderful, warm comedic approach to his act and included everyone in our party throughout the evening. We all would highly recommend him- a perfect addition to our evening's celebrations.

We had Mark at our wedding doing magic between our food courses, he was incredible. So engaging and full of personality. Not just doing magic he was also very funny the guests loved him. He stayed over his allotted time as well for no extra charge, which we were really appreciative of. Mark really is a must have at any event, well worth the money and a superb magician. Some of his tricks are simply incredible, no one could figure out how he did them!!

We booked Mark for our wedding based on seeing him perform at another wedding a few years ago. He was brilliant there and didn't disappoint on our special day. Mark turned up without any fuss and integrated with the guests quickly and really well. The guests who Mark performed for all thought he was great. He integrated seamlessly into the occasion whether entertaining the young or old and has a unique gift to deliver a wonderful experience. I have seen many close up magicians but he surpasses all by some margin. Absolutely thoroughly recommended.

I saw Mark for the first time at a civic function in Norwich last night. I am always pleased to watch illusionists perform with playing cards, and wondered if I could actually see how the illusions were performed. Despite the fact the Mark was within 2 feet of me most of the time, his delivery, timing and dialogue was spot on (his Jokes, however...!) Marks illusions are in my opinion world class and I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone, and indeed shall ask for him at future events that I shall host, both privately and civic. Thank you for a good show!

I booked mark for my partners 50th very sceptical at first, but he amazed everyone for the whole night!! He brought everyone together and no one could stop talking about how amazing he was, booking him was defiantly the right choice really amazing!! Mark provided entertainment for my husband's 40th birthday party. His rapport with the guests was equaled by his mastery of magic: both 5 star rating. Look no further, you have just found an excellent magician doubled with an excellent entertainer! I have yet to talk to one of our guest without them mentioning how good Mark was, without prompt. Definitely the highlight of the evening, although the food was seriously good too... :-)
Mark came to do close up magic at my 30th birthday meal and left all the guests mesmerised. It was a great way to add entertainment to a mid-week pub meal and make the evening more special. Mark is a true professional and comes highly recommended.

We invited Mark to help us celebrate our son's 21st Birthday party and to provide him and all his guests (and a few of ours!) with a very special surprise. We can only add to the list of tributes to Mark by saying that he was the sensational talking point of the evening. His easy going and modest style as he moved around the tables had everyone stupefied at his magical feats. We cannot recommend him too highly.

We planned an anniversary party for family and friends and had plenty of entertainment but everyone that came could not have praised Mark anymore for his amazing talent. The facial expressions on everyone's faces made for a great photo album too. A recommendation for Mark goes without saying, he's great with a crowd and has them all focused on him.
We hired mark to do close up magic for our wedding reception we had about 80 guests. Mark arrived in perfect time to what we had agreed. Then blew the minds off our guests for the next 2 hours, not only is he professional and talented at what he does, but he has a fantastic and great banter!!! 100% would and will recommend to everyone. Mark entertained our guests at a 90th Birthday celebration lunch on Saturday 23 April. His magic is brilliant and left us all completely amazed. Mark attended our daughters wedding on the Saturday 2nd April 2016 and he was just brilliant. He performed outside prior to sitting down in the marquee and quite a few guests were following him from table to table, he then performed again once all the guests were seated and everybody commented how good he was. I hired Mark to come along to a small gathering of 10 friends for my husbands 40th birthday. He arrived at the time he said he would and entertained us for an hour while we had pre dinner drinks. Mark performed up close magic for around 20 mins then gave a little break to charge our glasses then returned for another 40 minutes to amaze us again. Its one thing seeing magic on TV or on a stage but Mark was right in front of us and included each of us at some point or another so we all felt really involve. We had a very random request for Mark for some end of year office 'fun'. Mark dealt with the request really quickly (we only gave him 3 days notice) and arrived prepared and enthusiastic. Mark performed to several small groups over a 2 hour period and amazed all of those that saw him. He was extremely good and far exceeded my expectation! Our situation was a little on the random side for him, as he performed around our office desks, but I imagine at a wedding or special event (any event really) environment Mark would be received extremely well and all guests would go away feeling surprised by his magic.

We booked Mark for our wedding breakfast to keep the guests entertained & he certainly did, in one word fantastic. With a hard crowd to please everybody was stunned by his magic. With great magic, personality and very smartly presented he certainly delivers the whole package & I would recommend Mark to anybody.
A very personable gentleman, who moved discretely among the groups whilst we ate canapés and had drinks and then turned from table to table to perform his tricks. He was careful not to interrupt anyone's meal and very much amused everyone, certainly attracting their attention. His tricks were clever and gave rise to much conversation. We give him 10 out of 10 because what he did was appropriate to the occasion . A couple of people have since asked for his so there may well be spin offs for him.

I cannot recommend Mark Daynes Magician highly enough. He recently looked after our guests at my wife Anne's Masonic Ladies Festival with his wonderful personality and close up magic. The event held locally in Norwich was a great success , Mark simply amazed and entertained all our staff for several hours and it made the evening both very relaxing and provided a talking point for several weeks after .Mark performed exceptionally on the night and frankly amazed many of our staff during a five hour session at this local Norfolk venue . Mark came to my parents 60th wedding anniversary party where we had 70 guests, ages ranging from 2 to 90yrs. There were four to eight guests seated at tables so Mark was working his magic at very close proximity to the guests, and he was incredible! His sleight of hand with the card tricks was amazing and it was great to watch the wonder and awe on people faces as he produced trick after trick. (I have to say though, some of the guests tried to trick him, but he carried it all off in a very calm and relaxed manner.) The children were enthralled by his disappearing and reappearing ball magic. I have to say that I’d definitely book Mark again, and recommend him. Mark gave sparkle to the evening and made it very special, and I’m sure all the guests will be talking about him for weeks to come.
